Marketer of the Year at Cannes Lions. Based in Chicago, Matt has been building brands for three decades on the company, agency and property sides of the business. His career began at two of the world’s most prestigious agencies: Ogilvy & Mather and Y&R. For nearly a decade, he was a senior executive at Visa, overseeing one of the most effective campaigns in American marketing history: Visa. It’s everywhere you want to be. At the turn of the century, he pivoted to US Olympic Committee heading into the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics. Matt's worked capped off with designing the best-selling line of merchandise in Olympic history. Most recently, Matt looked after brand strategy and development for McDonald’s; stewarding the global i’m lovin it campaign across 120 countries. Matt is the father of two teenagers, is a decent golfer and a dedicated practitioner of yoga. He's co-chair of the DuPage Foundation Marketing Committee and teaches 4th grade religious school. |
